Our facilities
In our hospital, with have a state-of-the-art surgery suite with a padded induction and recovery stall. In our examination room, we are set-up for evaluation of a variety of cases including colic examination, standing surgeries, diagnostic imaging, reproductive evaluation and treatment, joint injections, ophthalmic examination and treatment, dentistry, and MORE!
Our hospital consists of four indoor stalls, one isolation stall, and four outdoor stalls. All our indoor and outdoor stalls have video monitoring to ensure your horse receives the attention that he/she needs.
Outside our hospital, we have a designated area for lameness and neurologic evaluation. We have also added a round pen as another option for performance evaluation.
We have also recently added a new farrier shed that allows our local farriers a space to work alongside the veterinarians here at Roaring Fork Equine Medical Center. This space can also be used by our farriers for clients that are outside of their travel range.
We also provide a room on site for our visiting veterinary student externs. It is important for us to invest in the future of equine veterinarians. Our extern housing ensures that visiting students get the comfort and exposure they need to learn and enjoy equine medicine and surgery!
