Veterinarian - Surgeon

Dr. Eric Everett is a Colorado native and grew up outside Greeley, CO. He earned a B.S. at the University of Denver in 1999. He then earned an M.S. through the University of Wyoming in 2002 in zoology and physiology. He completed his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) through Colorado State University in 2007.

Upon graduation, Dr. Everett moved to Glenwood Springs, CO for a one-year equine internship. He was then accepted into one of the top equine surgical residency programs in the country at the Marion DuPont Scott Equine Medical Center of Virginia Tech, which he completed in 2011and became board-certified in equine surgery.

Dr. Everett has lived and practiced in the Roaring Fork valley since finishing his residency and founded the Roaring Fork Equine Medical Center in 2017 with the vision of providing the best care for the local horse population as well as serving as a referral center for the horses of western Colorado.
