Veterinarian - Intern

Dr. Savannah Schneider was born and raised in Helena, MT. She grew up riding her Arabian mare in various sports, some of which included O-Mok-See, horse showing, roping, team sorting, and even hopping on a couple rodeo saddle broncs from time to time. After attending horsemanship clinics around MT and WY, Dr. Schneider found this to be a passion of hers. She still has her first colt and has started several others since.

Dr. Schneider graduated from Montana State University with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science in 2022. During the school year and summers, she worked as a CNC machinist, a native grass seed farmer, and veterinary technician. Fulfilling her lifelong dream, Dr. Schneider earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2026 from Washington State University.

Following veterinary school, Dr. Schneider enrolled in a one-year equine internship at Roaring Fork Equine Medical Center to expand her knowledge in equine medicine and surgery. Her clinical interests include podiatry, internal medicine, and sports medicine. She is excited to serve the people and horses of the Roaring Fork Valley.

In her free time, Dr. Schneider enjoys riding in the backcountry with her husband and dog, roping, drawing, and acquiring house plants.
