Veterinarian - Intern
Dr. Emma Atkinson grew up in Snohomish, WA, where she spent her childhood riding horses and competitively showjumping. She went on to earn her Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from Washington State University in 2023, followed by her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Washington State University in 2026 through an accelerated 7 year BS-DVM program. Following graduation, Dr. Atkinson moved from Pullman, WA to Glenwood Springs, CO, to begin her career at Roaring Fork Equine Medical Center as an intern doctor.
Dr. Atkinson’s clinical interests include reproduction, anesthesia, and general ambulatory work. She is passionate about providing compassionate care for both patients and clients whilst she continues to grow as a veterinarian throughout her internship.
In her personal life, Dr. Atkinson can be found spending time with her dog, two cats, and hamster. She enjoys caring for her collection of house-plants, reading, traveling, and spending time outdoors.
