Aaron A.

Veterinary Assistant

Aaron is a new veterinary assistant from St. Petersburg, Florida. His interest in horses began at age 4 when his family would vacation each summer at The Mayan Dude Ranch in Bandera, Texas.

Aaron has a BFA in Acting and a Master's in Education, both from Florida State University. During undergrad and graduate school, he volunteered on a horse farm outside of Tallahassee. In 2017 Aaron moved to Colorado, where he spent a year working at an Equine Assisted Therapy Facility called Windwalkers. He is grateful for the two years of experiencing horse ownership when he rescued a mustang.

This past summer Aaron led trail rides at the Maroon Bells Guide and Outfitters in Aspen. He also began online courses in pre-veterinary sciences. When not at the clinic, Aaron enjoys hiking, paddleboarding, mountain biking, and skiing with his wife and two rescue pups. He is thankful to be welcomed on the RFEMC team.
